MEET INTERCOMM PR

Carolyn Holck is the Founder/Principal of her own PR/Marcom consultancy group intercomm pr LLC for telecom, wireless, technology, biotech and life sciences, consumer, and luxury brands. She attended Otis-Parsons School of Design (Otis Art Institute of New York’s Parsons School of Design, Los Angeles, a former Division of the New School for Social Research) and The Academy of Art College, San Francisco (at the time it was affiliated with the University of San Francisco) to pursue her passion for design and art. She studied Political Science at the University of California, Irvine and graduated with a BA in Government from the University of San Francisco. She has worked in PR & marketing for several tech leaders including Qualcomm, MP3.com, Hughes Network Systems (Hughes) and Sun Microsystems. Carolyn held senior positions at global agencies including the San Francisco offices of both             GREY Communications and Phase Two Strategies.

 

Carolyn advises and works with tech startups and established companies in areas of marketing communications, PR and business development. As theCMO of Southern California’s leading Tech Incubator EvoNexus she was on the team launching its FinTech Incubator as well as initiatives with key global brand sponsors including                    Franklin Templeton, Royal Bank of Canada and Merck.

 

Through grit, tenacity, compassion, collaboration, and a strong work ethic, Carolyn easily establishes and maintains valuable client relationships. Her business acumen enables her to identify her clients’ tech, consumer and business initiatives that are changing the world and translate them into a spectrum of communications. She takes an audience-first approach when developing messaging and positioning strategies for PR/Marcom campaigns to tell compelling stories that matter and are relevant for engaging her clients’ employees, customers, and the journalists/analysts/influencers that reach the public.
